2008 British Grand Prix - Race 9/17

I dont believe that Massa's spinning was of his own doing. Something wasnt right, given that he actually spun the car, when he was going in a straight line.

Also Heikki, once again, failed to deliver but I will give a more detailed dressing down later.

Well done Hamilton and at the half way point, we seem to have a nice even battle between the main contenders - Hamilton, Massa, Kimi and some unknown guy called Kubica.

The FIA's rule changes seem to have done the trick. They wanted closer championsip battles and thats what we got last year and are getting this year.

I was making that point that KR has had some bad luck also and could equally have scored a lot more points.

Three drivers all tied on points now, just so happens that two of them drive red cars, and the red car won the championship last year. Certainly points to me that the red car is better.

The difference is I'm not rubbishing KR.

Barrichelo is showing Button up this season. The Honda is a poor car but Barrichelo owns Button.

No but hang on, I thought that the OCUK forumites had all concluded that the 'non-driver aids' rule changes would favour Button, as he was allegedly the most smoothest driver ever.

I of course, disagreed.

What this forum needs is a 'rubbing your face in it' smilie! :D

Fair play to Lewis though, he did the business and was a light year ahead of the rest. It was great to see Beardy and Rubens up on the podium too, and seeing Massa going round and round, and round was priceless. :D

Where's Lewis senior?

great race from the start. Good team effert from maclaren. Finaly we get to see honda have some luck. But i think it was all down to ross braun, look out if the have a good car next year

O wimbledon time, federer + nadal match will be ace. 2-1 games to nadal atm.

They both look supreme !

Certainly points to me that the red car is better.

Over the course of the season, the Ferrari is definitely the faster car. In light of this Hamilton, just has to work harder and be more determined. TBH though, Hamilton has had help with so many races this year being wet. If all the races were dry, I doubt Hamilton would be so high up in the WDC.

Wet races give a (fast) driver the chance to overcome a faster car (and slower driver).
