2008 Chinese GP - Race 17/18

"It's interesting that he's decided to call it a day, simply for the reason of brakes"

Yeah, because brakes aren't important, are they, Allen?

I can't wait, only one more race to go and we never have to listen to that ******* again :D

Come on id like some answers from the Ferrari lot please.
How is it not Massa gaining an advantage, which if it was Lewis im sure you would be complaining about?

At the end of the day it makes sense to do what they did, as long as the team did not specifically tell them to its just one driver helping out another. They are a team after all.

But they did tell them, they just used code words which means if they have to do that, then its not allowed.

Im really not trying to cause a row here, just a debate, team orders are banned but Ferrari have just broken the rules and that seems to be ok?

I personally thought it was an inconsequential move.
Hamilton drove an intelligent race today (with some lockups at times) but generally kept his head about him.

He has to mess up pretty bad to lose this championship, so the 2 extra points Massa picked up from Raikkonen probably wont make any difference.

Mclaren kinda did it earlier on in the year with LH?
One of the races where Kovalainnen was ahead of Hamilton (because Hamilton had to pit or something) and Ron gets on the radio to HK and says "Heikki, Hamilton is behind you and he is about 'yay' seconds per lap faster than you"

Losely translated? Get the hell out of Hamiltons way :)

you can never tell though, he can get a puncture, be run into, hit oil on the track, which could all put him down in the points. So every extra point could be vital.

Congratulations to Lewis, whatever happens now he is the moral champion of 2008, if it wasn't for the FIA then he'd already have the actual championship. :)
