2009 Ashes Series - England vs. Australia **Spoilers**

Lulz another SHOCKER, bat-pad catch but ball missed the bat by a good 4-5 inches :p

Will be interesting to see how the Aussies approach the next innings, particularly Johnson and Siddle - there's a lot of pressure on the bowlers to not only take wickets but keep the runs down as well, if anyone is a bit wayward then Ponting is going to have a real problem setting fields etc.

All good :D

Shocking umpiring he was not even close to hitting that.

These umpires should be made to wear ear muffs, then they can only give decisions on what they see, not what they hear.

Obviously gave that out because he heard two sounds, not because of what he saw.

I realise this was a flippant comment, but you do know how daft this statement is. Don't you?

172 runs behind. If we can skittle the Poms for 150, we're back in with a chance. I'll just keep telling myself that tonight... between the heartbroken sobs. :p

Outstanding work by England; absolutely top class bowling. This is basically a reversal of the last Test!

Swings and roundabouts. Both sides have benefited from dodgy decisions in this game.

Looks like my prediction yesterday was right on target:

This is all quite amusing, but if the pitch is breaking up already, the lulz might be on the other foot when Australia bats tomorrow.

:/

Looks like the state of the wicket will be crucial. If England can hold on to it while it disintegrates we might be in an even better position this time tomorrow.

Looking forward to the highlights tonight. Such a shame channel 4 didn't hold on to the rights.:(

Yeh I know, I was thinking when everyone talks about how 2005 ashes really gripped the nation...

That was because it was on Channel 4 and was free!!

I don't think there is as much buzz this year and it could be a reason why, it's now on Sky
