2010 F1 - Who goes where? Lineup and Teams

They are still being reffered to as BMW sauber, so are we to assume that they are sticking with BMW power? Or is this simple becuase a formal name change has not happened yet?

When Qadbak were taking over, they announced Ferrari as an engine supplier. I assume with Peter Sauber's links to Ferrari they will still be getting Ferrari engines.

Name change will be a formality.

Looks like Renault are staying in name, and keeping a 25% stake in the team.

David Richards, or Gerard Lopez will be in taking up the remaining! So, whatever happens, it seems "Renault" will be on the grid.

Kubica's place is still not confirmed, but apparently a talk is being given to the staff today, and probably an announcement on Monday morning :)

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/8407138.stm - not looked for other sources yet, other than its not reported on Pitpass... Will check for more in the morning.

I REALLY hope not - god if you thought the last couple of years were boring, it will only get more so if he comes back - schumi this, schumi that, schumi the other , no thank you!!!

I really dislike Schumacher, both in his on track 'antics' and the way he comes across in interviews.

Saying that, he's a silly good racing driver, and to see him up against Hamilton, Alonso and Massa would be incredible, maybe he'll thrash them, maybe he'll be slow, or maybe it'll be the best championship battle we've seen for a while (albeit probably not the best racing :p -- note, that's a dig at the crappy current F1 cars, not any antics relating to a certain german...)

So yeah, I hope he comes back, although I also hope that he comes back and with the Ferrari, McLaren and Mercedes all being competetive that Hamilton comes out on top :)

You wouldn't like to see him take on the youngins?

Not in the slightest - he dominated the events and our screens even in the few terrible cars he had, and it was nothing but schumi this and schumi that all the ******** time, good riddence imo - its bad enough hearing and seeing that he is/was still an advisor on the pitwall

Is that it for JV then? He wasn't expected anywhere else was he?

Think so :( wouldnt tip him to be at virgin or at sauber (especially after his very poor run there when it was bmw). Tip him has a last min shout for usf1 maybe if they are really struggling to get drivers (and he is north american)

As for Lotus, looks like they will be propping up the back of the grid and will be spending the most on new bits for their cars with a driver line up like that! Trulli is just poor and should have taken this opportunity to retire and Hekki might be a nice guy but he hasnt the raw speed. Would have been more productive to field Ralf Schumcher and a duck.....
