I really dont like our voting system it should be whoever gets the most wins job done.

So really it should be conservatives turn. I hate labour

Excuse my ignorance, haven't followed elections enthusiastically till recently, but how does the number of 326 seats make the majority vote?
Does it have to be a bigger number of seats than labour and libdems added together? Labour and libdems exit poll numbers are 255 and 59 which is 314.
Or bigger than labour and libdems and others together? :o

At a guess I would say that 326 is the number of total constituencies divided by 2, + 1.

The system needs reform, the question is how. PR gives better representation but weaker governments, and will make it more prone to backroom dealings rather than people power. FPTP gives stronger governments but arguably disenfranchises some people, however it also makes it easier for the public to force a change of government.

PR would be the end of the three current parties as they splinter into smaller groups.

I would like to see voting reform along with constitutional reform personally.

I'm up for widespread reform on both sides. On the subject of strong vs weak governments across the world weak governments seem to be better for the populace.

Precisely, polls opened at 7AM! Sort your ******* priorities out. Dimwits.

Postal vote..

The young cashier that served me in tescos and his co-cashiers were going to vote for the first time. They were chatting as they'd not voted last time around (local). I think a lot have decided once they heard it was so uncertain to make the effort.
