Interior looks nice, if not a bit fiesta looking as well. Don't understand why they went with an overinflated fiesta for the exterior, looks like the old russian doll gimmick is in full effect here. =/ Also looks as if they ripped the wings mirrors of a mondeo.

Not for me. It looks too much like a Focus thats trying to look different, rather than looking good. The problem is it will end up being accepable because they'll be really popular so you'll try hard not to see one.

Lose the chrome and vertical styling of the front bumper and it might be nicer, but the rear lights aren't working at all IMO.
 
I've never really like the Focus that much but I do like bits of the styling of this one.

What's with that big panel under the rear lights in the rear lights pic, is that the fuel filler or something?

EDIT: The centre console looks a bit too slab like and very busy.
 
Looks like a big fiesta from the outside, and feels like you're sat on the bridge of the enterprise on this inside :confused:

But that looks normal, the bottom part is just a rubber splitter that bends, etc..

On the new Focus it looks as though they have run out of paint and just left it with unpainted sections.

Looked dreadful on the Golf as well.
 
It looks generic which will probably appeal to Mr Joe Average who is the kind of chap to buy a brand new Focus to transport his 2.4 kids and their step mother :p

Why should it look like a big Fiesta? Brand identity?

Load of tosh imo. Whilst it might look similar, I don't think it should look like a bigger fiesta at all. Where is the creativity in that? OK it's "only" a Ford Focus, but still, there should at least be some effort put into it, rather than just making the interior look "snazzy" and messy. :(
 
Not a massive fan of those pictures but I bet it'll look a lot better in real life. I do like the look of the Fiesta so hopefully it's a bigger version of that, an ST would look good. The interior though looks a bit too busy to me.
