Love the interior, but I'm not keen on the exterior. It looks like they've taken the styling of the fiesta, but made it more dull.

Wonder how much extra you have to pay to get it fully painted.

Will these come with a true manual box too or just the auto/semi-auto stuff ?

Tbh imo the handbrake position makes more sense, you can pull it harder & easier now. I wish the handbrake in my car would have been a bit more forward as as it is atm I can't lock the rear wheels easily unless it's wet or slippery, I simply can't pull hard enough as the thing is far too much to the back and I sit in the 2nd most forward position possible as I'm small, feels really awkward using it.

I like the looks, I just wish it wouldn't be so bubble shaped. I still think the second gen looks best.

Are you sure the power of those motors is right? They're all lower than you can buy now.

Sorry, saw my wording in the original post wasnt the best, but to clarify :

the 2.0 Petrol is now a Ti-VCT Engine (~130PS ->155PS)
the Ford 2.0 Turbo may appear, possibly downtuned to 180PS or at 200PS as it was designed (this engine will show up in a lot of bigger cars)
the 2.0 Diesel is uprated (136PS -> 160PS)
the 2.0 Turbo (same as one mentioned earlier) for ST is looking at 250PS
the 1.6 Turbo, which I'm not sure on, is looking to be 140PS-160PS

The rest of the engines are for Eco nuts.

edit - Oh and there'll most likely be a a Diesel 'ST'

That looks horrid and I don't like the interior either.

Then again - I've never been a fan of any of the Foci, hatch backs just don't do it for me.

Yes, because the function of the handbrake is to perform handbrake turns. I'm sure the buying public are thinking exactly the same thing.

IMO none of the Focus' released have looked really good until they get their facelift refresh after a couple of years. This one is probably no different.

:rolleyes:

I just bought the last of the pre-facelift STs (ST500), this certainly gives me something to look forward to if/when they do an ST model, and plenty of time to save :D

I really like it, and love the amount of things going on in the cabin, more cars need more toys!

Looks like a big Fiesta - which is exactly what it should be like. Nice work :)

Have to agree. I like the new fiesta shape and this is a bigger version.
shame the auto version is the crap old auto boxes, would have looked at getting one if the wife starts getting disability!

:( I hope not.

Unfortunately for you and I they sell, Renault and VW have a diesel competitor so its only right Ford give the option also. But why should it bother anyone? Its not going to 'replace' anything, just add to the range.
