Happy New Year folks. Continuing on from last year's interesting 2011 Weight Loss Thread, here is a new one for discussing hopes and achievements during 2012.

Right now, I'm 250 lbs on the dot near enough and want to get rid of roughly 1 stone per quarter. My target by the end of the year is to reach 190 lbs.
 
Yes, that's the method I'm going to use. Smaller portions of the same stuff I eat now, which is pretty decent but cut out all the cakes, biscuits, sweets, chocolate and Coke. :D I've already given up coffee and tea which I had with sugar in but also had to have cakes or biscuits to accompany them. No coffee/tea = no cakes/biscuits.
 
Problem with the "healthy" cereals is they have a lot of salt in. Nevertheless, I always try to have a bowl of All-Bran and a banana with soya milk for brekkie. Plenty of fibre! :D
 
In my attempt so far is to drink 8 pints of water a day, averaging 4-6 a day right now, problem is for me I need about 3 coffees to get my day started.

You can have too much water which mucks up the balance of electrolytes and you can "drown". 4-6 is about right unless you are living in the desert or exercising.

And no-one "needs" coffee to get going in the morning. You just think you do. :D
 
Crashed and burned already! Curry and beer stocks in the house remain and I'm not throwing them away. :D Aiming to reboot on 1 February by which time I should have scoffed them.
