2013 Le Mans 24 Hours

Looks like he lost it under braking and and went in almost perfectly backwards into the wall.
Front end didn't look too bad.

Just a guess though as it wasn't shown.

Something I've just noticed, with the cars running along the top, they've removed Simonsen's name from the #95 car. All the other retired cars have a name next to them.

Have to get some sleep now. Night guys. :)

Very messy race. The lack of practice time and difficult and changing conditions can't have helped. I imagine some driver's minds are elsewhere. Quite a good race in some ways though.

Also, still blogging away (don't worry we aren't taking it seriously) and having some fun here!

They replaced it with nygaard at about 7-8pm then got rid of it altogether a few hours later, not sure why they felt the need to do that.

Still feeling quite lively here but I've come close to dropping off a couple of times. Will try and see out the rest of this SC then see how I get on, sleeping bag is out anyway so I'm staying on the sofa one way or another

Big wreck for the 99 Aston on the Forza chicane on the Mulsanne. Slid across in the wet and slammed the barrier head first. Drive jumped out and ran for it so he's ok. How absolutely gutting for them :(

Driver is just sitting there at the side with his head in his hands :(
