*** 2014/15 Pre-season Friendly Thread ***

Man Utd vs Inter

Lindegaard; Smalling, Jones, Evans; Valencia, Fletcher, Herrera, Young; Mata; Rooney, Welbeck

Handanovic; Ranocchia, Vidic, Juan Jesus; D'Ambrosio, Jonathan, Kuzmanovic, Krhin, Dodò; Botta, Icardi

We look solid enough and have been the better side offensively. I've been watching Fletcher and most of the match he's been quite far forward, neither he or Herrera are playing a specialised defensive midfield role, so we could certainly slot a proper box to box player in there. Fletcher hasn't been too bad though to be fair.

Pretty steady stuff though, all in all. Inter are just sitting back and not doing much.

Up to watch the Roma friendly!

Missed the one vs Liverpool and I didn't want to miss this one too.

United fans, who played better, Inter or Roma? Inter drew and Roma lost, which can be an indication, but I hear that Inter's first show was with Guarin at the end of the game.

We win on pens, nice. :p

Not a great game, Blackett, Zaha and finally Shaw all looked really good (of the young players). Shaw is seriously rapid.

lol, in a friendly, Roma vs Real, pepe gets into some kind of fight in the hand shake line up bit. Wasn't quite clear what he did though but he ****** off Keita somehow.

Personally think that blue Utd strip looks awful - L

Glad Utd won, even only on pens - as expected the Real - Utd game decides the group (unless Roma shock Real, but not sure thats going ot happen)

lol is the security so ****

like 20 + people have invaded the pitch

All teens looking to get photos. Fans were running to the Real Madrid bench, then they noticed there is no Ronaldo :D:D

Some staff members went in front of the Real Madrid bench, and fans weren't even going close :D:D

Good game. Real played a good team for the first 60/70 minutes, then a lot of players from the B and C team came on.

Quite happy with how Roma played; attractive attacking football.

Now I'm going back to sleep. I already know its going to be a hard day tomorrow (or today...) at work!

Inter have good defending but that's about it they had 1 shot on target at the 88th min Roma looked much better than Inter did

Got beat 4-0 by Osasuna last night. Both terms fielded the reserves during the first half - 0-0. They make 11 (ELEVEN) substitutions at half time, bringing on their first team in the process, and duly thump us 4-0! :p
