2014 World Snooker Championship

Can't wait for start of play today. Wondering if Ronnie can get to that magical 6th world title. One interesting thing, is that Ronnie has never lost once he's made into the final at the crucible. The complete opposite of my other favourite player, Jimmy White who got there 6 times and lost every one. :(

i just hope ronnie turns up the heat today. selby will rightly be disappointed if he loses because it's not like ronnie has blown him away. it's only because selby has been so poor that ronnie has a slight lead. ok ronnie has looked great in a few frames but i want to see that maintained through a whole session.

I would love to see Selby win this. Ronnie is obviously the best ever, but Mark is so hard to beat!

About 10 years ago, I ran in to Jimmy White at a football match, and spoke to him for a bit. Really nice bloke but he was totally wasted...got an autograph and it looked like someone was testing a biro!

White is also totally deluded, he still thinks he can win the world title and has said so pretty recently in interviews. If he couldn't win it in his prime 20 plus years ago with fewer players to beat how's he expect to win it when he's well past his prime with more good players to beat in an event he hasn't qualified for in the last 7 years? Id love to have of some whatever he's smoking. :o

Yesterday's play in the final was probably the most uninteresting I've seen in a world final. When Ronnie was 4 - 2 ahead, I predicted then that Selby would win, though I hope I am wrong.

Come on O'Mulligan!

selby is playing well but it's bloody depressing to watch. :p

Yeah I agree. It's absolute torture. Selby is just locking up every frame making big breaks impossible. You can call it good match play and it is working for him very well, but it's crap to watch. I hope Ronnie can regroup and come out strong in this next session. One thing about Ronnie now is that he can flip the script in an instant, just like he did against Joe Perry.
