Great penalty. I think Japan are a little too over the top and technical in their build up, and England's direct play may work out well.

Pleased that went in. Soft pen, but well taken. Thoughts of Sasic's pen against the US flashed through my mind.

Johnathan Pearce did comment earlier that the standard of refereeing was poor which it has been.

Yeah, should have been a free kick for their pen, ours was soft too but looked good.

Ah, Houghton's ankle was actually stood on, so that is a pen I suppose.

It still looked like a soft penalty to me, but fair enough at least it looks more legitimate than at first glance.
