Restricted to where the wife and I can holiday because she doesn't wish to be on a plane for more than 4 hours. Thinking of 2 weeks somewhere around the med, not really sure where to go at the moment...

With a bit of planning you can go anywhere you want up to 8 hours. Just book flights which contain a stop over with neither fight being no more than 4 hours each.

Summer

-Five weeks in Orlando
-One week in NYC
-Three days in Philly
-Two weeks in the UK (mainly seeing friends and family)

Autumn

-Two weeks in Dubai

Are you retired?  I wonder how someone with a job is able to go on holiday for 10.5 weeks and still have a job at the end of it. :D

The other half and me are looking at Saint Lucia end of the year, brand new hotel, adults only and approx £1800 each all inc for 2 weeks.

Question is... where else could i go that is better, nicer, more picturesque ? must still be a beach type holiday

I am a bit clueless to holidays and destinations and not very well traveled compared to some.

Ive been Ocho Rios in Jamaica, Daytona Beach, Cancun in Mexico and Cuba and a short break in Bulgaria. I would probably only visit Jamaica again.

The rest is Wales camping =D

Cheers

2 days in Edinburgh in Feb half term.
2 weeks in an AI in Mauritius at Easter.
2 weeks villa holiday in Fuerteventura in August.

Got a long weekend in Budapest booked for April with the Mrs and some friends, and then squeezing a week in Madeira in July with the family. All on Avios for the flights, and airbnb for accommodation so sensible prices. :)

Hopfully get away with the Mrs again late summer/Autumn once our youngest has been packed off to Uni, and we can finally go on holiday when we like during term-times again :D

Portugal end of March for a few days too see the other half's Bro who lives out there in a Russian Military Truck.

Amsterdam for a long weekend in June to celebrate a divorce.

Finland in July for a week to chill in the Motherland.

Wales for a long weekend in August for some Mountain Biking.

Also trying to arrange a long weekend in San Sebastian during the summer for some serious eats.

Barcelona for a few days at the end of this month for F1 testing - the annual pilgrimage

Long weekend in Wales on the motorbike in March

Four days in north Norfolk with the parents in April

Long weekend in Normandy on the motorbike in April

Surprise holiday with the wife to Lisbon for four days in May

9 days to the Alps on the motorbike again in July

4 days in Centreparcs, Thetford in July with friends and kids

5 days in Madeira in September.

Very busy year, and very much looking forward to it.

Retired? Would love it but I am in my 30s

Self employed. I own three companies over here with my brother in law. He picks up the slack when I go, same deal when he holidays over winter.

The summer is my quiet period and when I am in NYC and Philly I will be meeting clients for a day or so.

Flying into Las Vegas, driving up through Yellowstone, Zion and hopefully Badlands national parks, Mount Rushmore before heading down through Colorado and eventually flying back from Dallas.

Should be fun :D.

Not long back from a week I'm the Scottish Highlands - damn it was cold!

Week in Lanzarote end of March with the wife's family

Probably a couple of weeks in France end of August, start of September.

Long weekend Easter break in South of Ireland for Fairyhouse festival (horse racing)

Probably another trip to Scotland towards end of the year.

Usually a couple more long weekends here and there.

Mind if I ask who that cruise was with? Been to Oslo couple years back but would love to do a cruise round that area.

Probably just a trip around the NZ north island over Easter and road trip in the South Island a bit later in the year. Flying anywhere is a PITA due to the location so we're rather limited.
