2020/21 Sack Race

Indeed.
But it's obvious why he has.

It's a toxic job.

It's a knackered squad and he'd probably end up sacked next year
Aging squad, no money, what players they have bought haven’t worked out for whatever reason and they’re broke as a club too. Zidane apparently hasn’t had the support he feels he should have got from Florentino Perez either.

I don't understand Real Madrid.
What exactly can Zidane do any better?
Won the league last season and literally a couple of points off this season

Real Madrid have a knackered squad and it's a poisoned chalice of a job

I don't think they have separated on bad terms, it seemed like he did it as a favour when he went back, i bet he looks at the Man U job and would fancy that as a challenge though.

Spurs? Man U?
If he goes to spurs that would settle any question of Bale staying there.

Yeah you should never go back, rarely works out although not sure who's out there that could be better than Poch and also make the void left by Kane leaving not seem so bleak
Good second spells:
Moyes at West Ham
Hiddink at Chelsea (both short stints though)
Coppell at Palace
Redknapp at Portsmouth
Dalglish at Liverpool (He got trophies)
Mourinho at Chelsea (to begin with)

Bad second spells:
Dalglish at Liverpool (he got fired)
Flores at Watford
Keegan at Newcastle
Kendall at Everton
Mourinho at Chelsea (fired in the end)

Given the pending implosion at Palace, if he takes Zaha and Eze with him that could give Everton a very interesting feel next season. If I were them I'd be looking for any avenue to get out of there. I'll be amazed if Palace stay up next season given how much change is about to happen to their team and staff.

Eze is injured long term isnt he?

Eddie Howe is a good option

I'd completely forgotten about him! I was in favour of him coming to us in the past. It's just annoying it's going to be another season with another manager where we flounder around trying to get everything to click into gear. I was hoping for a bit of stability with Ancelotti.

It's difficult to be too critical of Carlo leaving Everton but it doesn't feel right the way he's signed up to the Everton project, been allowed to spend a fortune on his players and then he does a runner.

Whoever Everton go for needs to be somebody that's willing and able to work with the group they've got now - they can't afford to go through a rebuild and I'm not sure it'll be possible. They've got a fair few players that will be near impossible to shift in the current market.
Eddie Howe is a good option
It's going to be difficult for Howe to spend £20m on Nat Phillips as Everton manager though. I hope he goes elsewhere and Everton get somebody else.
