2080TI Recomendations

Been messing around oc'ing with my new card. Only managing +111 on the core but decent +1000 on the memory. Boosts to around 2050 average, touches 2100 but generally hovers around 2050.

Is the average? I never seem to be too lucky with the silicon lottery! Not gonna bother messing with voltage or flashing bios - in time maybe. Adjusted power / temp limit to 115% & 88 respectively.

2050 core 15gb memory sounds good what % from stock is this? Run Firestrike my old 1080 oc woyld get 16444 i been waiting for someone to break 32k. But yea sounds ok mate.

14.0 Gbps is spec, 1665 boost.

1665 + 33% = 2047mhz
14GB + 7% = 14.98GB

Not bad the most i ever had was a 47% 3570k at 4.7ghz. Also Kaapstad a Titan RTX would get 32k but this is in relative price and perf to my £599 1080 AMP. I am waiting to double my Firestrike demo graphics score of 16444. But i am gonna pull the trigger on a 2080ti on Sept 9th. £750 in the bank and 140 a month going in. :)

Best to use Timespy Extreme or Firestrike Ultra these days to test high end GPUs as standard Firestrike really CPU bottlenecks the latest cards.:)

Thanks, good to know I've done alright with this card.

Was happy with just 4.4 on my 3770K.

I see i made a typo 3400 + 37% = 4658. You did ok i would be happy with 25% . What i noticed from my 1080AMP and other Turing cards reviews is 2050 is about the maximum bouncing to 2100 under cold conditions that you see.

I only did the standard demo as it was free so that is the only reference i have going from my 1080 AMP to i guess Zotac Twinfan 2080ti. So i would like to of seen 16444 doubled which is 32888. This is from Sept 2016 by the way!

I am a noob, the 16444 was my 980 score...

I scored from my notepad records 16444 then upgraded the 980 to 1080 and got 24498 on the graphics score. So the 2080ti when i get that will be the third GPU in this 4770k based system which is interesting. I expect a minimum of 40k so i am never getting double scores.

To double my system score in Firestrike standard which is when i try to upgrade i would need 25k on the physics, 13k combined and 49k on the graphics.

Looking for some advice

Was going to get an Asus 2070 super. Currently have a 1080 gpu

Noticed that the top end strix oc Asus 2080ti is over £300 off now and I can get £270 back on my gpu

Anyone had experience of this card. Other option is the zotac amp which is also down to £1060

My advice is hide the pricing and never talk about it see my posy in the other thread. You are inviting someone to buy them all up.

Either would be a good card, Personally i would only buy Zotac for the warranty. Asus might have a good card but i dislike them personally.

Just got the AMP for a similar price. Great card, very cool, OCs well and 5yr warranty. Only just fits in my case though!

Register the warranty remember 28 days tick tock.
Thanks for the reminder. Annoying that I forgot to note serial no. when I first installed it and again just today installing new mb and cpu! It's a pain getting to the release mechanism as it's so tight against the CPU cooler...

Pretty sure the S/N is on the box outer too. ;)

Yep - all details on the box

Thanks for that.

I hate it though, when you submit as requested and have no way to track they have received it OK. No email in response and don't seem to be able to link it to a Zotac account...

Mine took a day or two but I did get something back in the end.

I contacted them and received email to confirm 5yrs warranty very quickly - thanks again for the reminder @Rofflay and for the tip @HRL , would have been kicking myself if I had left it too late!

Good stuff what did you use for the image? Did you print screen the order page? I will do the same too risky not to get them to confirm it.
