Watched this live earlier, what an amazing accomplishment!
When he jumped out I was holding my breath, and when you saw him spinning and it changed cameras to his family it was a tense moment, but when he slowed down and gained control it was such a relief!
Be interesting to see other footage when the documentary is released.

Can't ever remember being that engrossed and absorbed by anything ever.
Watched the whole thing from beginning of ascent to landing under his parachute.
I was seriously hiding behind a cushion when he stepped out onto the platform and bloody hell was I nervous for him.
Unbelievable when he just stepped off with that view of the earth and space around him. Crazy crazy but what a moment.
Records are records and they will be broken eventually but I'm actually made up that I can say that I watched it all as it happened and shared with millions of others that lurch in the stomach and incomprehensible OMFG instant when he just willingly fell away into the void.

OMGGGG!!!! What the hell, can't believe I missed this after wacthing it the other day and got delayed. Completly forgot about it with everything that's gone on this weekend

It turned on some of the cameras, he pressed it before he jumped. Kittinger asked him to turn on the cameras and he responded by pressing that button.
Thats too long to wait
everyone is talking about it at the moment. Wonder if anyone recorded the live stream from start to finish, it may pop up but its unlikely to be tonight.

Would have been lethal had he been trapped inside with just 10 mins of oxygen left which begs me to ask if the capsule could have made it back to earth in that time
