The last 3 years have all been won by the manufacturer starting on pole, so it must mean something.

Craft Bamboo Racing has withdrawn its #99 Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTE from the 2014 24 Hours of Le Mans, due to damage sustained in the first practice qualifying session late last night (11 June).

The driver of the car, Fernando Rees (BR), was taken to the medical centre following the incident, which occurred at Porsche Curves, and was discharged with bruising to his ankle.
