28 Years Later Trilogy

Only the original movie was any good, as soon as it got Americanised it was the usual rubbish Hollywood pumps out

I loved the first but the second didn't seem as good. I'm due a rewatch probably.
Sequel was your generic Hollywood action movie. the total tone of the movie had nothing in common with the original.... it made no sense

regularly listen to music on tidal ,
can't now remember if it was set in 70s/80s the VW van should date it , but painted a bleak social/political situation in the UK with the urban landscapes, beyond the zombies,

They're meant to be sequencing (farages favourite) This (e:is) England too - which has some of same ambiance.

IMDb: 28 Years Later | Danny Boyle’s sequel wraps production.

Looks like this is going to be a series of movies. Perhaps a trilogy. First movie wrapped up but the second will start soon. That's sounds pretty intriguing and ambitious.

Cheddar Gorge was closed recently for filming and the rumours were for 28 Years Later. Would fit with the filming schedule if its just wrapped. Can't wait especially if its Danny Boyle at the helm

I'd rather leave this one alone and for someone to make a proper WWZ adaptation. Done right, that's the greatest zombie film/show ever.
HBO 50 minutes an interview you can see it being utterly epic. All you need to do is film the actual chapters doesn't need reimagining, updating or changing for a modern audience . Shame it will never happen. The film was a disgrace to the amazing book.

I actually loved the film. As far as zombie films go, it's a top notch one. However, it should have been called something else because, yeah, it's got absolutely nothing to do with the book.

I was a bit late with the news about this coming out, and I hadn’t watched the old films in 10+ years. Wife hadn’t seen them at all either. She’s not great with horror or zombie films… I told her it’s not that bad… :p

We just watched 28 days later, what a great film. Wife is now terrified though haha. It’s genuinely thrilling, even though I know what’s coming. Going to watch 28 weeks later tomorrow, don’t know how much of it my wife will watch haha. I remember less of that one, but I do remember the scene where Robert Carlyle is reunited with his wife…. Brutal.

Can’t wait for this to come out.
