2900xt owners\benchmarks thread

Still waiting on these citylink gimps delivering my psu, about 20 mins till they stop delivering parcels. :rolleyes: And of course the driver has his phone switched off.

I'm proberbly gonna get one of these, but I'm waiting 'till the next driver release first. And hopefully I won't have to buy a new psu, my 520w tagan should suffice :)

Did you get your PSU today ???

I was expecting my evga motherboard/ C2d cpu / DDR2 to be delivery today...(but the mail plane couldn't fly till 2pm because of fog,so i didn't get my parcels today :mad: )
 
If any of you guys have quake 4 and the latest drivers of the web for the 2900, can you test the game with AA set to 4x in game and see if you get a full system crash when you go to save a game, i ony get the crash with AA on, cheers.

Nope, was out for delivery but no one came near my house. I love how they can get away with this crap, pay for next day and they deliver when they can be arsed, no hint of a refund for crap service either. :mad:

Impressive.

How come you score a clear 1k+ more points than Tom|nBK when he had his card at stock on a C2D at 3.4Ghz? There certainly isn't 1k worth of points difference going from 3.6Ghz to 4.3Ghz, let alone 3.4 to 3.6...?

Twice as many processors.

no card OC, spec in sig except it was done on a 3.4g E6600 OC and vista 64 running latest cat drivers 8.37

Good or bad ?

Yup dont try Quake 4 with these drivers, seems to lock up after a while and VPU recover is activated, and i was playing with 4xaa etc, :( , stupid damn Alpha drivers we need some final ones ffs :mad:

Have you had the Maze 5 running on your GPU? How does it run? Thats the major selling point for me at the moment.. Don't want to have to spend an extra load of cash on a new waterblock for it.

Not set the watercooling up yet, but when I checked the mounting on my other card the Maze5 just fitted on and no more, it just cleared the corners of the shim without clashing.

Its looking promising for me then.. If it turns out to work well, you may have just made my day! :)

.. And also condemned me to be being £200 worse off.. :(
