*** 2nd March - Apple Event - Official Thread ***

Some people do talk nonsense. How am I trolling? I own an iPad and an iPhone 4. I like apple products... I had very high hopes for this iPad 2 and it has disappointed me. I'm not gonna post here saying it's amazing when I don't think it is. Just my opinions... that's not trolling...

Also if you think the iPad screen is "amazing" it just aint true, sorry. It's a great screen, but it's in no way anywhere near comparable to a good monitor or Retina. and yes, you most certainly CAN see the pixels on the ipad. My movies look slightly fuzzy on the ipad - on my monitor and retina they look pixel perfect. That's due to the iPad's significantly poorer resolution. And the screen on the iPad 2 is going to be exactly the same.

Where's the argument here? There is none.

Your monitor will have a lower ppi than your iphone. Stop being an idiot.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Guess that's all folks, all-in-all not too bad. Bring on the iPad3 in Sept with a retina display ;)

White iPad2 for me, Yessirreeee!

The ipad has a Higher PPI then your monitor

Which Phones were running Dual core when the Iphone 4 was released? which Tablet was running Dual core when the Ipad was released?

What's that got to do with criticising a product for not featuring dual core CPUs when they could have used dual core CPUs? The Qualcomm CPUs where there. Instead they chose to buy the company that made their A4 and then spoon feed dual cores to the fanboys today. "OMG INNOVATION". Retards.

yes but you don't have your monitor as close to your face as you do your ipad do you?! no, you don't.... it's the end experience that matters. the reality is that when you watch a movie or look at an image on the ipad it doesn't look as good as it does on a monitor or retina. simple. technical aspects aside.

and there's no need to be so rude.

I've got to say, I'm disappointed with this too. The iPad 2 is nice and everything, but the OS is old now and the user interface seems stale, they need to do something special with it this summer to keep people interested seeing as every other smartphone/tablet has a similar interface now.

Also, as you can't buy mobileme anymore, what is happening to it...?

You cant grumble at £329 for the first gen one, especially as not everyone is fussed about the new iPad2 features.
