Thing is already been waiting for years and rooting I see as a necessity on android phones, rather than something I actually want to do. I don;t think my questions will get answered for some time.. So bloody annoying.
Why can;t one or the other offer what I want. All I want is a media player/web browser in tablet form. Couldn't care less about cameras and other peripherals, although can see the point for some people who video call.
 
I don't get whats so wrong with what they have offered...

1 - Dual core CPU
2 - upto 9x Faster Graphics
3 - 33%Thinner
4 - 15% lighter
5 - 2 Cameras 1 with HD video
6 - HDMI out
7 - Same price and battey
8 - Some cool apps and a nifty case.
9 - White or Black colour
10 - Improvements to the OS

I've been warning my friend to sell his iPad for about two months now - He's still got it - When I tell him they've reduced the prices on the current iPad and a new iPad 2 is being released next week, he'll backflip :p

What were the MobileMe rumours supposed to be about? If anyone has a link to those or knows them. I just saw a few people mentioning MobileMe in the thread.

To be fair then - you should perhaps consider something like the Moto Xoom or similar (in about a month when they finally pull their fingers out of their bums and get Flash working on it)... without having to root it, it does look like a pretty good option. The one I'm hanging out to see is the new ASUS Transformer. Beautiful device IMO.

Problem is no legit film download service on android, with no info and no release dates.

Asus transformer is the one I'm interested in. Xoom has a poor screen according to previews.
 
No where near enough to get me interested in upgrading, the thinner design really offer anything to get excited about its not like the current one is weighty is it

The HDMI output is cool but I wonder how often i'd actually use it

Think I'll get one of the new MBP's instead :)
