In your dreams pal! As much as I want this drive you aren't having **** . Also I can't see how OC would do that, it would cause more trouble than good. They have it listed as a seperate item anyway. The orginal drive can be purchased now at the regular price.

Your right of course, it won't revert to the normal price as like you said that's a separate item. It'll go up to £260 as this is a rare item and your gettng the chance of a clio williams 2....

Does your motherboard support esata? If I were you I'd go for an enclosure with that as it's faster than USB.

How does the slower speed of 5900RPM over 7200RPM effect system performance? Also how many platters does this drive have?

I assume 4x500GB platters would be inside. The slower speed means it's not ideal for OS and games but on a budget and not being picky it will do the job if needed.
