there was a guy who is britains fattest guy and he can sink 40 pints in a night so basically the weekly guideline is bs.
I'm not dead...yet
It's over the recommended daily amount and will shorten your life expectancy.
Who here honestly wants to get old enough to poop their pants?
Who here honestly wants to get old enough to poop their pants?
you dont have to be old to do that
That's more than I wanted to know.
...?
You can get medical conditions that do that...
My dad used to, half a bottle of gin every night for 30years. We had to bury him 3 months ago at the age of 54
So yeah drinking a few most nights a week isnt nearly as bad as his habit but its not the best thing to do every evening (sorry its a little bit of a downer)
I have been there, my father died at the age of 52. The certificate stated the reason as heart attack due to hepatic failure. Basically his liver gave up and the strain on his body caused the attack. To see a once strong, quiet man, someone I loved dearly and was very proud of, wrecked by drink was the most painful period in my life.
I drink, sometimes too much, but I think the one 'gift', if you can call it that, left me by my father is the little voice a the back of my mind that says "enough". I do not want to die like my father did and nor do you (all of us not just the OP), do yourself a favour and cut down. Missing out a few beers is not the end of the world but adding those extra ones in may just shorten your time on the planet.
Sorry, when someone mentioned the calories in beer I thought it was implying that I would get fat.
I could do with more calories anyway because im light!
