As the OP I can categorically say "No this thread is NOT about that" - It's asking if we're becoming immune or desensitised to the reporting of new terror attacks (as this was initially reported as being) when this German attack got a paltry 180 word story with a tiny byline until the story changed hours later once the mental history of the accused was found out.

Whatever else you've decided to make up in your mind that this thread is about is just that - made up.
 
It's the same thing. Then it got into the lack of reporting would encourage larger attack seeking more attention.

The irony being it's a storm in a tea cup, but there's all this doom posting about terrorism.

So you proved the opposite, people are hyper sensitive to it.
