3060Ti

The combo of Covid and all that entails, and also the new mining boom has wiped the market. Will be interesting to see how long it takes things to return to normal.

I would be happy with a PS5 at this point tbh, but can't get one of them either ! xD

i got one for a friend in the hope he helped me get a 3060 - he "forgot" at 2pm....choose your friends wisely!

a lot of companies who dont have stock yet will be protecting themselves from higher freight rates, they have quadrupled in the space of 3 months and its at the point now where there is very very limited containers left in China to send things over, its going ot get worse before its better coupled with CNY in Feb, im betting MAY earliest we will see some form of normality and then the costs will be passed onto the consumer.

I'll keep saying this. The cost per card for shipping, even with quadrupled freight rates is neglible

no one with the chance to order a 40'HC of Ampere cards is going to let a few thousand dollars put them off.

Hhhhmm that's not too shabby - would be a nice upgrade from my V56 but still think a 3080 or 6800XT would be a better long term proposition (at the right price).

Im just hella salty because im not buying a last gen card and im not pay scalper prices and im in every discord and whats app group i can find and ive still been unable to get a 3080 3070 6800xt and now 3060ti. Ive taken every launch day off work and missed out every time

lol, yeah can understand that, I've been after an MSRP 3080 or similar since release and had zero joy. So this will be an okay performance jump, but it's definitely a stop gap as 20% more performance as 3440x1440 will make little difference in some games I play.

Ultimately why would the retailer bother to stop the "scalpers"....

They are getting the money either way - scalpers, end user, reseller etc - Doesn't matter.

Why would they spend a load of money on their website to deal with that. They don't care who gets to buy it, so long as it's sold.

Same for everything else that's high demand. I know someone who's bought and sold 40 PS5's so far - got pre-orders on them all. He's made nearly £9k (around £200/£250 per console) profit so far. None of the big retailers selling them care he got 40 consoles - they got their money so what does it matter.

Well that didnt take long - ebay is full of orders from here , for £700+ (showing receipts for 3060Ti cards)

Why do you feel the need to tell lies?

We have not sold a single unit, so if you want to keep spreading lies, then your gonna be winning yourself a ban and won't be welcome back on these forums.

If its not you lying then those posting said items on ebay are doing so as we have not sold any 3060Ti which would clearly indicate those people are scammers.

Why would anybody say "sod it"?
If they don't want to pay that money for the Asus Rog Strix they can just buy a different brand... The Palit is £390

You couldn't buy a 1080TI for £390 at launch so your post makes no sense

It does make sense, if you realised the 3060Ti I was talking about, in earlier post on that particular page, is £630. The launch price of the 1080Ti was $699 (not far off £630)
