3060Ti

Nope!
We are holding off, more people than stock camping on the pages waiting to press order which will create issues.

As such we shall re-visit tomorrow and evaluate, when I feel we are good I shall make a thread on this forum, saying cards going live very soon, so your gonna have to keep checking the forum regular.

It is not ideal but right now it is simply the only solution.

Perhaps a strange question, but can you buy them instore presently?

Managed to get a gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Aorus Master 8GB OC for £499 with next next day shipping through another site.
I failed to get a 3080 or 3070 and after getting a 120hz oled TV I'm too broke to get a 3090 so this will have to do till I can get my hands on the 3080.

Well that didnt take long - ebay is full of orders from here , for £700+ (showing receipts for 3060Ti cards)

Was bored so reported 14 accounts as fraudulently using video content screenshots as images of what they have for sale :) Copyright infringement of the video lol :D

Making it harder for scalpers is always good in my books.

I'd love it if they offered a way of buying it here but only to those who've purchased something before and with a minimum purchase history of a month (i.e. you can't just buy a cheap item to be able to buy the GPUs)

Genuine question, how does banning new accounts stop scalpers? You don't even need an account, to view the comments in the forums.

Because if the info about the cards availability was only visible to established users (Ie like the MM), bots / scalpers wouldn't be able to see them...

My FE is now showing in order history

Mine too appeared at 15:36. Order placed 14:03 shows how slow it is to process them must be another nightmare day for etailers.

Personally think what @Gibbo is doing is very honourable and customer service orientated for the forums.

How about making said post in the Members Market, that would at least stop them being able to see it straight away?

Or the shop orders are only honoured if you have a minimum forum account age and posts?

I feel like there's some tunnel vision going on here.

Of course there was going to be insane demands this year. We're all experience depression to some degree being locked up at home and a lots of this demand comes from first time pc builders that are simply trying to cope by upgrading their useless computers.

OCs solution to the lack of stock for the demand is amazing, I'm really impressed by their transparency through this. There's only that much you can do against scalpers - just don't buy from them.

This bs talk about only allowing certain long time members to buy is just disgusting. Most likely you already have a decent GPU while some first time builders are left with a new computer collecting dust.

I'll keep my eyes open but at least I'll know it was as fair as possible if I miss out.

I'd be hit too but to be fair to them, it's one way of allowing at least some non-scalpers to get a card.

It does make sense, if you realised the 3060Ti I was talking about, in earlier post on that particular page, is £630. The launch price of the 1080Ti was $699 (not far off £630)

Yes, you were talking about the Asus Rog Strix 3060Ti.. please re-read my post.
The Palit 3060TI is £390 so what was your point exactly?

You're comparing a very expensive 3060TI against the bog standard 1080TI and acting like the launch prices are/were the same... For what reason? Some 1080TI's at launch were near £1000. Comparing the most expensive brand 3060TI with a bog standard 1080TI and saying "look it's the same, customers are going to say sod it" makes no sense at all

There have those for PS5's as well clearly stating *photo* and people still put bids of hundreds on them... not sure if they're trolling the auction, didn't read or are just plain desperate or, are are well, you know, not too smart.

@varkanoid is your order status still in Pending Payment Authorization?
I managed to grab an MSI Gaming X Trio but still awaiting payment authorization for some reason

Would it be an idea release these only to those who have Members Market privileges? IE > 1k posts or whatever it is these days, and the purchase can only be made who have their accounts tied to their forum user?

Perhaps more about time on forums... I've been a member for years, and enjoy being here, but just don't post enough to hit the Members Market privileges... what is it, 1000 posts now?

I'm almost half way, just another 11 years then!

Indeed must be a nightmare dealing with this. I dont think the cards will be posted today, last time I ordered from there it took them 4 days to post it, I'm hoping we get them before Cyberpunk is released.

I Think that the way that OC are going about it is very fair, gives some of us a chance to get ourselves a card without all stock getting bought up by a bot

No changes can be implemented this year to our website or our backend systems I am afraid.
What about just making the announcement that they're going live inside the members market an hour before to give those with access a heads up?

I tried for a 3060ti from a competitor at 2pm today, seemed like all the cards were gone by the time the page loaded.

Appreciate the communication Gibbo, at least we can give refreshing a rest this evening.
