I’ve been on this for weeks, always alerts me far too late. My email 7:16pm :(
 
I'm not sure the bots are buying the 3090s, they took a hell of a lot longer to sell out, the 3080s sold out right away. I guess there isnt a big enough profit margin for them on the 3090s.

You are competing with reseller bots,that's why.
they don't do anything about it,bots can easily be blocked if they wanted to.
 
Full disclosure, I set up nvidia-sniper with debit card details and auto payment and Telegram notifications. I got the notification, ran to my laptop (which has been running NV sniper for 2 days) and the order was almost complete. I just had to do a reCaptcha picture puzzle and it went through.

If you're still after a card, it's worth the time to set this up.

That's exactly what I got, albeit for the **80. Even had an order number too :D
It's a bit of a joke. AI & machine learning, top tech company with huge processing power and they can't even have an order reservation system in place, ie, once in the process the order can be reserved for a period so you can check out, rather than first one to the end of the process wins and the rest get the middle finger "sorry folks" :D

Been sat here all day (and many days in a row since 5 am with auto refresh every 5 seconds.
Went out to pick mrs up, Got home says check available stock. 3080 went out of stock as I was checking out.
Because I had all my payment details in. I just added a 3090 and got it. All Payment Confirmed. Im still shaking lol.
3090 is a bit rich for me really. But what the hell.

they are after 3080's demand for 3090 is much,much lower.

I almost did this today but was concerned about getting an IP ban

When I placed the order using my mobile, I wasn’t even logged in and had to fill out all the details. I was sure I would miss out.

On mobile, reCaptcha was just a tick box, no pictures.
 
Yeah i dont think its even first come first serve cause i was on it as soon as the button changed to add to cart but it just wouldnt let me checkout. I think its just luck. Maybe their mobile page is under less stress and doesnt fold under pressure like the main site.

My order will have been challenged due to the way the details were submitted. Normal, human interaction doesn't get additional challenge puzzles on reCapture.
