30xx Series Founders Edition

Managed to get a 3080...it's been a long 3 months...hopefully comes before xmas, but says in the email anywhere between Monday, 21st December 2020 and Tuesday, 29th December 2020. Any one know if they are quick to ship? Or do you get the game and geforce codes...not seen it in the email ect? Cheers

Normally they would come next day but no doubt getting swamped over xmas period as will the couriers, grats to those who got a nice present :p

of course their chat closes at 3:45 so finally got through on the phone. they're refunding the shipping. I was logged into the account (even with the bot check) but I use a different Paypal email address. seems that if you use the quick Paypal checkout button then it takes your Paypal email as the retailer account email, and that's why you don't get free shipping. But they were very nice about it.

What card did you get?

What card did you get?

soz for the delay, forum wouldn't let me post (limit is max 15 posts in 24 hours? really??) EDIT: oh now it works for no reason. odd.

wanted a 3080 (turns out it's much better for the video editing I do) but missed out and grabbed a 3070. I already have one (that I'm just about to open finally), but know someone that can use it.

I reckon you would have to be a complete AMD fanboy to deny the value of the 3060ti.

For some reason the exchange rate conversion was very favourable as well at £369. The $100 gap to the 3070 is £100 in the UK. The 3070 should actually be £449.

AMD's pricing leaves a lot to be desired given they can't even supply any cards consistently.
Agreed.

It is just funny seeing quite a few people now who slated Nvidia (especially regarding lack of vram) to then turn around and buy one :p

Bit out of the loop with all the card stuff. Can someone summarise for me the latest situation? Obviously they are all hard to get and scalpers are highly active, but in terms of pricing, for those that have been able to get some, what prices did you get them for? I can't tell what the prices would actually normally be because nowhere seems to list prices since it is so volatile currently. Are the prices massively above what they would have originally been expected to be priced at, even by top retailers?
Cheers

This thread is specifically about the Founders Edition cards which are only ever sold at MSRP at retail. Scalpers will obviously be trying to resell them for more.

FE cards discussed in this thread are being sold by an nvidia retail partner for:

RTX 3090 - £1399
RTX 3080 - £649
RTX 3070 - £469
RTX 3060 Ti - £369

I think the stock drops for FE cards are averaging once every 2 weeks on a weekday and usually around 2pm.

There are far more AIB cards which come up for pre-order/sale but are, depending on the card, priced much higher.

Question is how long will they take to deliver. My 3060ti FE on last drop took 5 working days!

Thought it might happen I was going to gamble on a 3070FE or 3080FE but when they didnt appear yesterday I grabbed a Palit 3070 GamingPro OC (for a pretty decent price I must say) which arrived today so I am very happy to have now stepped off the website watch roundabout.

Well it's Christmas now. Even Amazon have stopped giving exact delivery dates for many things.

I managed to get a 3070FE today, but the 3080 was sold out before I even got the 3070 in the basket. Must be a pain for those aiming for that card!
