Nope, was running 4K on both setups and even limiting the 3090FE via vsync at 60Hz makes no difference.

Generally running at 4K/120Hz.

The other PSU is still in use with my old 2080Ti and I can’t be bothered to swap them over as I purposely specced the 1Kw PSU for the 5950X build.

I can’t hear it when there’s audio playing but it’s a tad annoying when it’s quiet.

You have a higher tolerance for whine than I do then!
Id be swapping those PSUs in a heartbeat if there was a chance at no-whine.

While I agree that as soon as you have game audio, its not hard to ignore it, I find myself 'looking for it' ... as odd as that sounds. I know its there...

I had my 3080FE in a mid tower with sound proofing paired with an Corsair RM650x. I moved to an ITX case with a Corsair SF750 and it whines fairly badly. It's not getting any better, either. I suspect the larger case with sound deadening masked it rather than the PSU changing it.

I had one then sold it on after being bored with gaming in general, this last few weeks trying to play games at 4k on 290x has given me second thoughts.
