We'll see, would have preferred 3080 to be honest but the way things are its take what you can get.
Got a 3070 after they were gone... Been trying to buy a 3080 since release day, willing to pay about 200£ over MSRP, but no more... well, I guess a 3070 is much better than nothing. I can upgrade my 8-9 years old 770 now. Still quite ****** off with all this, I have been genuinely trying to buy one for more than 6 months, while I've seen people buying them every drop, or even getting a couple of each claiming to be for their brother, cousin, friends... I can honestly say now that I am see this whole hobby from a very different perspective, I'm not spending a single pound I could be spending somewhere else, it has been made clear that gamers go last.
Best of luck to all those who are still trying to buy one... I think I missed my chance in the last 4 drops, but seems like I finally got one this time. Fingers crossed.

Not wanting to put a downer on it but seen an article that AMD/Sony have said getting a PS5 into 2022 is gonna be difficult...

Now I can be one of those people who says that you clearly aren't trying hard enough, it's dead easy to get a 3080... Alert went off, clicked link, made payment, job done.
Seriously though, those people wind me up! It's been months of jumping at Twitter and discord alerts.Hopefully I can get a free power cable from Phanteks and my new build is finally complete.

Managed to snag a 3080 FE, got the order confirmation and expect delivery on Wednesday.
I'm usually a brand loyalist with Asus and I've in the queue for the TUF OC since October. I'm now wondering if that's worth the £100 more than I'm paying for this card? The FE runs hotter, is a bit slower (<5%) and louder.

why would you be loyal to ASUS? The FE are the best cards anyway
