Was to be expected, I think going into this launch with any expectations other than failure after the 3080/3090 launch would have been naive too say the least.

Not only Nvidia the shops are not prepared for this at all and have not learned their lessons last month. They should have changed their website to accommodate real buyers, but the bots won again...

For the FE, I very slowly managed to get all the way to card processing and then the pop-up bank payment checker failed to load. Then when I hit reload, it said my basket was empty
By then they sold out symbol appeared... so no FE.

The good news is I bagged a ASUS 3070 TUF OC on overclockers and received by confirmation of order @ 13:11:44
Happy days! Hopefully I am quiet high in the queue for this one, fingers crossed.

Frustrating and their new shop setup isn't working too well tbh. Poor for a high-tech company specialistng in AI etc.
I had the same yesterday but used a new CC i hadn't used before. By the time I had done the security auth stuff (replied to a text message) and then clicked the "retry payment" button they were all gone.
I wasn't interested in the 3070 today but did have a look at the main page to see how long they stayed around for. Hopefully some here snagged one.

Once again another farcical launch. Who'd have ever thought it would be this difficult to spend money.

Work laptop routes through Netherlands so got IP blocked when accessing basket (for FE). Tried on phone, got through eventually for it to fail to load the PayPal checkout system and the Amazon checkout just timed out.

Pardon the French but what a crock of ****
