If you really want the card and don't insist on FE model,there is still stock of the 3070 in some retailers website.I just chekced and there is Gigabyte Eagle 3070 for £519 for example..
the stock and availability is FAR better than 3080.

I’m not paying that money whilst sitting in a never ending queue. It was FE or nothing for me.

Im happy to go Amd I was just rolling the dice really.

3080's have had a weekly drop I think? Potentially missing one week I'm not sure. So I'd imagine there will be more next week.

Go show them how it's done mate. I'm sure it's super simple to configure. You could make a killing selling your automated solution to OCUK and the other popular retailers, since you clearly know better than most.

Managed to get a 3070 FE to checkout, at about 13:25, but decided against it.
Would really like the 3080 FE or 6800XT.

It is pretty easy to configure especially when you consider the type of company this is. Amazon(AWS) does most of the work for you. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of NV,but it seems comical the industry & tech they specialise in and fail to provide a decent & reliable purchasing experience on their own website given the technology available today to make a scalable solution much easier to implement, and automatically scaling too.

What is hilarious is that NV gave up on selling it themselves because it was so easy to buy one from them that it was gone in milliseconds and gave it away to a site where their servers still live in the 20th century that it was nigh on impossible to get past the basket stage lol
