30xx Series Founders Edition

And after a couple of attempts to find my house...

Looks real shinny, I want it.
Glad you got your 3090 sure took long enough.

Didn't get the ~£400 I hoped for (what they've been going for on eBay) but prices seem to be coming down so I might have caught the backend of the wave. However pending payment/shipment, managed to sell my Vega 56 for £15 more than I bought it for 3+ years ago (£315), so the 3070 upgrade only cost £160. Not bad :).
I just got a 3070 and im now trying to sell a vega 64. Prices are a bit all over the place, and im a bit worried about selling on ebay in case they do a charge back or something. Normally i have no issues selling on ebay, but i rarely sell a single item worth a reasonable amount of money. Paypal will no doubt side with them if it doesnt work with there 450w cheapo psu or whatever. Currently got it listed as collection only, but there is plenty of competition as there are loads of cards available. I should still be able to offset the cost of the upgrade though.

Was also worried about the same thing, fortunately someone with a >1,000 rating won the bid. I'll find out if they are scammers very shortly, good luck with your sale.

I love the look of the FE cards. Wish I'd been able to snag one last year but it feels a little late now.
I wouldn't say completely, harder - maybe. I've been on the Telegram group for a good few months but most of that doesn't count because I had notifications blocked so missed a few. As soon as I fixed that, snagged one weeks later. Get on the Telegram channel, sign up to the relevant website shop/update your delivery address and card details and sit back :).

I mean late like in the product life cycle. With the 4k series cards less than a year away I'm not sure if it's worth trying for one now.

managed to get 3080fe around 10 months ago still in the alert groups I do feel they dont drop as much now 3080 anyway , yeah its pretty late into this gen now

Ah fair enough, depends what kind of gaming you do. My Vega 56 was still a half decent 1440p card, I just couldn't crank it right up on newer titles. The 3070 should do me nicely for a 2-3 years, even at 4K with some compromise. The 3080Ti even more so. But if you're wanting high refresh 4K gaming, a new generation card might be better suited.

Why does Germany get another drop so soon, and better choice lol.
Girlfriend after a card next drop at her address hope it's a good one like Germany.

Finally got my 3080 FE RMA completed (after almost 3 weeks). Took about 2 weeks for my card to arrive in Hong Kong and got my replacement today.

The fan still makes a scratchy noise so I can only reach the conclusion that there's a manufacturing fault and most people don't notice it because they're not OCD / don't run silent PC builds. Oh well, maybe I'll upsell to a 4000 series when they launch.

I'll add that they sent me a brand new card.

So it's a weird one. If I wanted to be cynical, the fact that they accepted my RMA implies that they acknowledge that the FE fans have a design flaw which produces a scratchy noise, but I've owned 3 FE cards now and they've all produced it.

I should find something more interesting to concern myself with I suppose :P

On my 3060Ti FE can hardly hear any fan noise very silent card in ultra quiet system, it's the first FE card I've owned.
Could be different on a high end 3080 FE would need more cooling.

Sending off to Hong Kong suck's for RMA, getting brand new card back is great though.

This 3080FE is totally silent at idle and not as loud as my previous AIB 2080 when gaming, no coil whine either (or maybe I can't hear it because I'm 52).

I think three duff cards points to a duff batch of fans.
