My PC is running warm, I noticed the CPU hit 87-91C in HWiNFO64, so I thought to check out the 3080 FE temps in Satisfactory. The Max temps are showing as:
GPU Temp: 74.5C
GPU Mem Junction: 90C
GPU Hot Spot: 86.9C
Are these high? If so, any tips on lowering them?
i bought a mains powered air blower for that, take pc outside, tape fans down so they cant spin and kill anything then blast away
Well that's one way I suppose! It seems excessive to me, were you not concerned in case you damaged anything?i bought a mains powered air blower for that, take pc outside, tape fans down so they cant spin and kill anything then blast away
no cause the only thing that can cause damage is fans spinning up very fast, its only a handheld thing so i just get the nozzle in and aim for the dust, get a brush on the fans then give it another go around and its all fine for another 6 monthsWell that's one way I suppose! The wonders of efficiency advancement in Ada At the same fps when locked, the 4090 uses less power by quite a lot vs the 3080 Ti!
That's good, 3090s were going for sub £700 regularly on the MM although VRAM concerns seems to have pushed up their value a little. My replacement 3080 Ti sold just now for £725 + postage

Man a 3090 for under £700, a steal.
