I don't think that people are against you because you have a fast machine but because you have totally wasted the majority of the potential as games rig by hooking it up to such a limited resolution screen.
Your TV at 1024*768 has a maximum frequency of 75hz which equates to 75FPS - even with all the image quality features turned up, at that resolution your rig will be able to run at 150+fps. Therefore you have wasted at least 50% of your rigs potential.
My 3D06 highest score is only 8033 but I would say it is a more balenced rig.
