I don't think that people are against you because you have a fast machine but because you have totally wasted the majority of the potential as games rig by hooking it up to such a limited resolution screen.

Your TV at 1024*768 has a maximum frequency of 75hz which equates to 75FPS - even with all the image quality features turned up, at that resolution your rig will be able to run at 150+fps. Therefore you have wasted at least 50% of your rigs potential.

My 3D06 highest score is only 8033 but I would say it is a more balenced rig.

Refresh rates obviously do equate to said FPS but there is the choice to turn off v-sync.

Even so 60-75fps locked isnt exactly bad is it?

I think I'll be able to live with it.

Welshtom, I don't see my score on the single core list... I have a weird 7800GT that scored 4790 on first run 2664mhz (screenie on page 18) second run 2.75ghz scored 4847

does your 15" tft do 1280x1024 as that is the default resolution for this test.

if you cant run it on that res then it might drop down to 1024x768 and thus score higher

I use a Samsung 19" 8ms monitor (sig needs changing i know) even for 1024x768 that is high... lol

Finally got round to downloading this, initially I was getting pretty poor scores. I had to re-install drivers twice...

shows you the tiny difference the extra L2 cache makes with the 4400 I have, running at 2.6 also and with slightly higher clocks on the gfx I get about 150 more than you.. Almost enough for background processes to be affecting things.. Nice clocking!

Is my score spot on? I get 4926 points with x2 [email protected] and x1800xt 512mb PE.

Btw, I got about 1930 cpu score if I'm not all lost...

I take it.this score of yours is with two 7800gtx 256mb in sli and what speed is your cpu and 7800gtx cards overclocked to for this 06 score.
