No tweaks other then turning the 2 million background programs i have running off. Didnt take a screenshot so hope the link will be ok.

Ok spent the night overclocking and here goes, i could push it further but it is running hot (around 60c under full load, 42-45c idle) so im going to try and fine tune it and drop the vcore voltage a bit (currently 1.7).

anyway:

System is prime stable for 3 hours which counts i think even though im going to tone it down a little bit until i get a phase cooler :)

I would expect to see an x1900 xfire system monster my 7800gtx score... I managed about 8500 with a suicide run, get those cards clocked! 10k is possible with that setup!

Just ran the first 3D Mark on my new built PC, nothing is overclocked. Can you take a look and see if I'm getting full potential out of it, I'm new to overclocking and to 3D Mark in general. Thanks.

I guess you're running a widescreen because it's not run in full resolution, the standard for everyone is 1280x1024 not 1280x768 like you, it will inflate your score a bit. 6K ish sounds ok though.

Yeah still got a lot of tweaking to do but other then a few very minor overlocks on previous systems its all pretty new to me so im taking it slowly and doing one thing at a time. I did notice last night that the duel memory channels on the MSI RD480 neo2 board are labeled wrong though so in all my previous tests the memory has been in single channel config.... (anyone else with this board ignore the colour coding and labels, duel chanel 1 is dimm 1 and 2, duel channel 2 is dimm 3 and 4).

Only problem with clocking up my graphcs cards is that they run really hot anyway so i cant push them too far. I will give it a go though once i get my CPU and memory timings sorted :)

Yes I have a widescreen monitor - I don't think I could change anything as I have the basic version?

Your system looks similar to mine except for the single card instead of crossfire. At stock i scored 8112 so that seems to be about right.
