For a second my e-penis shrunk dramatically! That is a great score.

Initially I couldn't work out how you could have beaten me by so much, but then I saw your pic and realised that you are resolution limited to 1024x768. Even so though, that's a good mark.

I should say that when I did the run above I was overclocking at something like 665/895. The extra CPU boost you've got over me will help, but not to the extent of what a volt mod on the card can do.

I dont know what scores u both got but 3dmark06 with force 1280*1024 (with the exception if the monitor cant support it).

In reverse its true, my vx922 runs at 1280*1024 but drops to 1024*768 for 3dmark05 and down.

Yep, that's exactly how it works. The previous 3dmarks run at 1024x768, but 3dmark06 runs at 1280x1024. Makes sense I suppose given the increasing number of people using 17-19' TFTs and running at their native resolution.

EDIT: Current best score at 06 is 5441, which by the looks of things is good for a single core, single card set-up.

:o

Doh, silly me. Forgot to re-enable SLI after driver update.

Heres the new score

3D Marks:- 6973

SM2:- 3217
SM3:- 3153
CPU:- 1637

Have noticed that during the CPU tests, I get a frame rate of 0. Is this norm? or have i managed to build myself a rather gash rig??

That is the norm

Everything is being rendered by your CPU, nothing by the graphics card so it's very taxing

Results 8111

SM2 = 3699
HDR = 3542
cpu = 2038

Cpu : Opty 165 @ 2.7
7800gtx sli @ 490/1.3
2gb corsair @ 2-3-3-6 1T
Dfi Expert
74gb Raptor

That's an awesome score Death.

Street, I think yours could do with a little work. Your CPU is spot on, but you'll have to tweak that card a bit (or your visual settings) to get the best out of it. I'm using a single 7900gt and almost identical processor but scoring 1000 points more and as far as I know the X1800XTs are supposed to be in the same region as the 7900gts.

Well I think you should certainly be aiming for 5k with an X1800XT. There is a guy on these boards called 'A Random name' and he's got some very serious clocks only using stock cooling. I'm not sure how he got there and I don't know what he scores in 3dmark06, but in 3dmark05 he score pretty close to me.

In 05 I can get 9500 at stock, if i clock it to XTPE speeds i gets around 10k... Just doesn't seem to do as well in 06:(
