3d Mark 06 scores thread

new scores with core 2 E6300 and new ram...

Total = 10620
SM2.0 = 4509
SM3.0/HDR = 4961
CPU = 2700

finally broke 10k... how do the scores look and compare? any bottlenecks?

How come in the CPU tests you only get like 0-1 fps? :eek:

During the CPU tests the image is completely rendered by your CPU, not the graphics card. As they are fairly high quality this takes some time, leading to the very slow framerate

Just playing with my P5W D2 & 6600 thought I would post a 3D Mark 06 Update. Completely lost touch with whats good now.

Single X1900 XT-X & 6600 with a Mild OC

3DMark Score 7282 3DMarks

SM 2.0 Score 2733 Marks
SM 3.0 Score 3083 Marks
CPU Score 2942 Marks

My 6300+DS4 is boxed at the moment and I never tried benching it with 06. I would imagine about the same. I reckon the 4MB cache gives you the equiv of +200 Mhz over a 2MB, depending on the App.

This system is a beast though, it r0xx0rz Halfe Life 2 in 800x600.

I thought 10,047 was a good score for Xfire, what mobo and ram have you got?

Are your Xfire cards frozen or something?

I know My CPU is only a E6400 but its at 3.23GHz so I shouldnt be that far off you unless your GPU's are ramped a lot higher

Am I missing something - the extra cache of the E6600 shouldnt make THAT much of a difference and my conroe is running abotu 500Mhz faster

Would be nice to get a more exact reason

hmm,

well you dont run a Conroe, its an Allendale (2mb cache)

and i dont run a conroe, its a kentsfield (8mb cache)
