Just choose the 3d mark 06 profile setting in the 7800gtx driver display panel. Then 3d mark 06 will automatic puts your cards in sli it self..

As it shows, my processor is overclocked but my GTX is 100% stock (though 3dmark info shows the core is 450MHz - I guess that's the GTX doing its weird upping of clock frequencies thing). From looking at other people's results that's not too bad a score.

The 3d mark 06 cpu score has a mind of it's own..my 4400x2 clocked at 2364 MHz gives me the same as your cpu clocked at 2663 MHz

But when i overclock mine to 2473 it gives a lower score.

That is a bit strange. I haven't experimented with how the clock speed affects the score but I saw on a previous page that someone with an Opteron 170 at 2.7GHz scores 2100 on the CPU test.

I'll run it again shortly and see if it decides to kick out another random figure :)

the frame counter hit 1fps twice in the second cpu test
You're lucky, mine never moved of 0 on the first test! I counted for a while - 5 frames in 20 seconds

My scores:

SM2 - 1024
SM3/HDR - 931
CPU - 806

Total - 2368

Rig:
Athlon XP @ 2.2
512MB
6800GT @ 370/1000
+ all manner of background processes I left running

I'm getting 2738 for a 6800gt @ 420 core 1.15 mem, but how on earth are people hitting 5000+ with 6800 ultras with similar core and mem speeds to my own?

6532
SM2.0 3504
HDR/SM3.0 3389
CPU 1102

that's more like it :D fixed the problem by reinstalling the drivers as suggested. Had to ramp the CPU down from 3GHz to stock 2.8GHz however. Time to reapply some overclocks :D

system: FX-57 @ 2.8, SLi 7800GTX Extreme XXX, 2GB corsairXMS TwinX Pro

Athlon 64 Bit Clawhammer 4000+
XFX 7800GTX XXX edition
1GB Geil Value

All at stock speeds in a Shuttle SN25P

4105 3dMarks
1920 SM2
1902 HDR/SM3
914 CPU

Im at work but my brother just tried to Run it and he said he gave up on the CPU test as my system was getting less then 1 fps!!!!!! Is this right i have a AMD 3700 SD??????

Yep

Your graphics card isn't doing any of the work during the CPU test so it's perfectly normal to get far less than 1 fps for most chips

Yes... 1 fps is totally acceptable... infact your chip will not be getting near 1 fps... as to reach that awsome speed you need a top of the range dual core cpu
