3D Prints Gallery

I though I posted this in here last year but I can’t have done as I can’t see it.

Last years Christmas holiday print. Over 100 parts and was a good test of my, then new, Bambu Lab X1C. I have started this years Christmas holiday print today and I’ll hopefully have it done by the 25th.

As stated in the above post, a year ago, during my Christmas break from work, I printed a robot and I was very happy with the result.

This year I decided to do another Christmas holiday print project and I have realised it will not be done in time as it's far more involved, from a printing wise point of view, that the robot.

I go back to work on the 27th but I am hoping to have it finished for the new year.

I really like Bambu Lab PLA Matte, well I guess it's Matte PLA in general but I haven't tried any other brands yet.

So far I've used it to great effect to look at a tree over the road. Next to be printed is a mount, if I can find somewhere that will sell custom length aluminium rods.

All done on my P1S.

I got tired of my desk getting covered in odds and ends and I wanted a handy place for some printer tools, so I started with some multiboard parts

And some desiccant holders for the AMS

I tried printing a smaller lego man than that, but i was having to many tolerance problems with the parts fitting together
These were very tight. I has to just fettle a couple of edges to help them in and then a few needed a blow with a hammer to seat properly.

It's a great print though and only about 350g of filament.

Went for it this week also. Zero problems printing, used rafts for any circular smaller prints like the hands etc. fitting all went together fine bar the black cheek inserts which seemed to be a fraction big, rather than cut them, I removed the two middle pieces, inserted them from above and then the remaining bits fitted as they should.

Haha that’s wicked!

What was the print time?

This has become the bain of my life at the mo, printers not quite dialed in enough to get the bits to fit together, will have a play when I get home, all your fault for posting this model, hence my other thread..

I am currently printing out multiboard parts on my X1C, I have an insulated log cabin arriving in a couple of weeks (basically a hobby space for my 3d printing & Warhammer painting), the multiboard system will be perfect for my needs.

Going with 8x8 base tiles 12 number in total and if I need to add to the multiboard it will be really easy to increase in size.

Cheers All

Ohh I remember seeing this a long time ago but had forgotten about it. Have you tried it out?
