3DMark Sky Diver Benchmark Thread

Ran this just now guys, same gpu clocks that it passed a few days ago, (+80/300) on sli 780's. Only difference is an oc of 4.7ghz on the cpu compared to stock cpu. Skydiver failed on the first gpu test with a driver error, new 1000w psu installed, same drivers, same fan speeds, max temp of 74c on the top card. The same gpu and cpu oc's passed firestrike 5 minutes earlier. Which i think is the more demanding benchmark?

This bench stresses systems in a different way to firestrike, the stress comes from having to deal with the very high fps in Sky Diver.

Having said that if you use custom settings and run it on a 4K monitor @3840x2180 the fps are a lot lower but graphically it becomes more demanding than even Firestrike Extreme. And the power draw is huge (higher than any other bench) @4K.:D

Ahh, interesting. Ill try running it on slightly lower clocks to see how things fair.

This bench is a cpu killer.
Cpu 4930k@ 4,63 with 2400mem scale me 2k gfx points from stock trifire 290x run vs 3 290x clocked 1210/1625.
I dont even speak of 290x 1340/1625, sad numbers:mad:
Like 3k more points on gfx....
Any tips Kaap for better scaling:)

The best way to get better scaling is to run at very high resolutions, unfortunately this does not help if you are using 1080p.

Here are some scores using 290Xs @4K

1 GPU

1. GPU 290X @1230/1625, GFX Score 16473, Physics Score 17613, Combined Score 18700, CPU 4930k @4.7, Kaapstad - Link

2 GPUs

1. GPU 290X @1210/1625, GFX Score 31601, Physics Score 17790, Combined Score 29756, CPU 4930k @4.7, Kaapstad - Link

3 GPUs

1. GPU 290X @1210/1625, GFX Score 47039, Physics Score 17856, Combined Score 27204, CPU 4930k @4.7, Kaapstad - Link

4 GPUs

1. GPU 290X @1200/1500, GFX Score 58808, Physics Score 17872, Combined Score 25602, CPU 4930k @4.7, Kaapstad - Link

I do have a 4k screen standing next 2 me but not installed yet in system. It is a aoc screen :).
Hope its no prob with my cards and 4kscreen:rolleyes:
hmm maybe i jump the gun and order a 5960x,ddr4,rampage5 with a waterchiller.....
maybe then my 3 290x get less cpu bound.

Unless you get a 5960X that overclocks well using 3 cards on it could be worse than what you have now.

MjFrosty has got a 5960X and it looks like a good one but the ones I have seen in reviews have not done so well.

I am done for benching on my cards in truth. Need new cards that are worth going for Kaap. 4K gaming for the interim is my biggest interest :)
Jeez mate, your already on triple titans. Which iirc have been out for 18 months. And yet nothing from nvidia or ati makes a worthwhile upgrade. 4k and gsync, i reckon your sorted. Crikey id be happy with 2560x1440 with gsync and sli 780. But im not paying the silly money for the asus swift. Almost 700 quid on a tn panel, no thanks.:)
