3DMark Sky Diver Benchmark Thread

New best from me,

http://www.3dmark.com/sd/2366029

SCORE
33672 with AMD Radeon R9 290X(1x) and Intel Core i7-5820X
Graphics Score 45155
Physics Score 15804
Combined Score 27802

5820K @4.5
290X @1200/1600

sadly due to a few issues with powerplay and the new system, i'm unable to run my ram at it's rated speed and can't overclock my 290X to 1270/1600.

Hopefully these issues will get sorted asap and i'll be back with a better score.

Here's a bottleneck for you :)
With the third card, the score only goes up by 1K, but there's an extra 7K on the graphics.

Need FS extreme or certain games to get three running at 99%. That, and a higher res :o

I don't have a 5960X, for some reason that's what it's reporting :p

I have a 5930K. :)

Yeah, but still :D

Anyway, Shiari's beaten that with a 295x2....

Not sure why it reports stock gpu clocks on the last one.

The CPU he used seemed to be very good on things where there are very high fps better even than my 4930k.

I used to think that IB-E was just a die shrink from SB-E but it is not, these two families of CPUs work in different ways.

I know! :D

Turns out my scores are relatively crap.

Cpu bottlenecked bench Petey. This is where my hours spent fine tuning my memory, coupled with my 2700k that i pushed to 5.3Ghz paid dividends. In this scenario, you run your gpu's at stock they get better utilisation. Better utilisation = more fps.

Try running at stock, i bet your score goes up a bit.

It scored just slightly lower, but pretty much the same as the OC result.
