I bought 3dmark in a steam sale so I ran this new test using steam but my score seemed lower than everyone else was getting 27000 and I have sli 780s.

Running it from steam I didn't have the black screen issue mentioned and the test runs fine.

To check if the reason my score is low I downloaded it from guru3d and here is my score now using same clocks as before

Cpu is 2600k @4.5

Cpu and gfx cards are water cooled.

using the downloaded benchmark from guru3d I did get black screen on the first test.

Updated score have now broke 30K.

i7 4770K : 4.4Ghz
Gigabyte Windforce 290X : 1200-1625 (6500) +150mv
Windows 8.1
Driver 14.6 Beta

http://www.3dmark.com/sd/2149373

Graphics : 46,256
Physics : 11,658
Combined : 23,569

Score : 30,008

Have installed Sapphire Trixx for the first time and as I am now able to give more than +100mv on the voltage I am now running a higher core than before.

Looks like I am going to have to re-run all benchmarks

Why is it that my 290 is always about ~5 slower that other 290's, where am i going wrong? Grrrr :p

@ Win8.1, atleast my £140 CPU is only 5% slower than your £260 4770K clock for clock.
I will take that away for comport from my lack of GPU performance if you don't mind, and i have yet to put faster RAM on my setup. :p:D:cool:

Win 8.1 is running the older i7 3770k, generally it's behind the 4770k in benchmarks. I found the 4770k at 4.2 matched my old 3770k at 4.5 in things like firestrike, 3dm11. Ill run this again when i get my 4790k installed, hopefully it will clock higher and run cooler than the chip in sig.

yeah, i misread it, its also 25 not 5%, ha... nevermind. i'm only running 1600Mhz RAM at this point.

Spare a thought for the poor Titan owners, at least you can see the bench running.:p

Yeah, the less said about that the better, no one wants your nice thread to blow up. :)
