It was interesting to see Twitter’s take on this - if this had been the other way round and a Jewish person (basically someone who’s white to most people) had made similar comments and threats to someone black on Twitter he would have been banned straight away.
As it was they didn’t really have a problem with someone making anti-Semitic comments as it was basically viewed as it didn’t break their rules about abuse aimed at white people.
Black Lives Matter Foundation, Inc is a global organization in the US, UK, and Canada, whose mission is to eradicate white supremacy
Replace white with jewish and that would be anti semitic right? so whynis it not anti white?
White supremacy or white supremacism is the racist belief that white people are superior to people of other races and therefore should be dominant over them. White supremacy has roots in the now-discredited doctrine of scientific racism and often relies on pseudoscientific arguments. Like most similar movements such as neo-Nazism, white supremacists typically oppose members of other races as well as Jews.
Twitter is like the bar in star wars a new hope but everyone in it thinks they are on the road to sainthood.
last time didn't a bunch of the attention seekers post photos of pure black on twitter instead of actually not using itIt's a massive deal to attention whores because 'likes' and 'followers' and 'sheep'. Hard to give that up for 48 hours.
For me and you it's LOL. I've boycotted them since inception as I've never, nor will ever, have an account.
It's anti white supremacy, you know what that is right? Not anti white people. Awful straw man argument.
If you didn't know, here is the definition from Wiki.
Do you have a problem with getting rid of this?
Not so different to this forum at times then.
By white supremacy im pretty sure blm mean white people holding positions of power, not kkk.
Overclockers forum- where you go to be snarky at people you've never met to make yourself feel good.
I tried it briefly. Boycotted it since.

I assume she felt embarrassed, I was tempted to say "Don't be embarrassed, live your life for you and don't care about what other people think, be your self"
then I realised it's probably a photo for instagram or somewhere else to show how out going and active they are by presenting a false narrative of their life.

He basically said jews were the KKK were the one that was reported and he only cared about blacks. There was other comments as well apparently. But he then started making threatening/abusive posts at various people who picked him up about it as well. Basically outted himself as a massive racist.I've not seen the original comments he made but were they as bad as stating that (only) black lives matter?
On the blm website it states
Replace white with jewish and that would be anti semitic right? so whynis it not anti white?
no one seems to want to be them self any more or find out who they are. What's different from what families would send each other Christmas letters with cards with a yearly update of what they've been up to, and it was always fun positive stuff. Of course people always want to show off their best side, that's not the unhealthy part about it. The unhealthy part is not being able to separate that from real life.

I've seen his comments - didn't seem especially bad to me anyhow. I mean far less bad than putting the entire country on house-arrest due to a bad flu!You may have heard about some... people, opting to boycott twitter for 48 hours in relation to a music artist making purportedly anti-semetic comments.
Whether the comments were anti-semetic or not is not what I wish to discuss.
My principal thoughts are in relation to a “48 twitter boycott”.

This is possibly one of the weakest things I’ve ever heard. Standing in solidarity against... whatever, by boycotting social media for such a pathetically short time... I just find it embarrassing. Oh, what bravery and courage is on display!!
A 48 hour twitter boycott.
I just can’t get over it. How is that a thing. What is going on. Wut.
Just me?
