Looking forward to the official release, had a few issues with crysis when trying to change the res and the ccc not starting properly on windows boot.

My CCC on 8.8 and 8.9 occasionally crashes, just needs a re-start to fix, so maybe not just the 8.10 betas...

Has anyone tried hd-dvd or blu-ray playback with these drivers? As the video doesnt seem to work for me!

yes i have a hd-dvd / blu-ray rewriter drive, my blu-ray playback works fine..

You had to change any settings? Is your card oc'd? What monitor are you using?

Does anyone know if you use the manual fan control does the automated increase in fan speed still kick im if you go past a certain temp?

For example I want to set mine to default 30. But say if I was to somehow reach 90C or 100C during a game, will the fans speed increase to cool the card down again?

Or does it just stay at whatever you set you at?

i haven't changed any settings. yes my card is overclocked to 750/1150. im using a samsung tv @ 1920x1080 60hz via hdmi.. also using
CyberLink PowerDVD 8

I think it stays at that speed i forgot to up the speed once and went into a game and it started to overheated and started to get artifacts!

hmm the only difference is im running 1920x1200 and im using v7 of powerdvd

u could download a trial of powerdvd 8 to try it.

i put mine to 30% but when running cod4 it started the woosh noise every now and again which started to get annoying.so i put it back to what it was before.does seem a bit more fluid in games now , not that it was bad before.
