That is kind of worrying given the size of Acer. Surely all it takes is a phone call by ACER UK to ACER HQ saying - "where is the UK stock of XX".
Sounds like a nightmare company to deal with. I wouldn't want to put up with that crap because it's not good enough really.

That is normally the issue, the larger the company the more segmented they become, Samsung are even worse if our UK contact window is not available.
