4K gaming possible at full settings on todays hardware?

Acceptable frame rates for me are very much game dependent. Something like BF4, I like to have above 60 all the time but something like Batman/Thief, 40 fps is good. No idea how long my Titans will last but hopefully a while yet

Cheers and the game just plays so well at 4K. I liked the game anyway but now it just looks so much better.

Some Assetto Corsa screens. Not the best of images and I should have chosen a better track but boy does it play well and looks fantastic.

I might get one of these monitors to run a few benches on and get a "real" 130 fps on BF4 @4K, then again i could overclock the cards and go for a bit more.

Yer, that is my biggest gripe in honesty. I was going to have a word with the guys at the marine shops to see if they could do me something to hang the monitor but the stand is small enough to go back far enough to match my Asus monitor. I would prefer the wall mount though
Yer I use it for everyday use as well but I tend to use the 1080P for apps and use the 4K for chrome.
Pretty sure it was fully maxed for the screenies but use 2*TXAA for gameing and get above 50fps average.
I will run a bench tonight to verify but with everything maxed and inclusive of PhysX on high and running 2*TXAA kept me above 50 fps and no OC on the GPU's either.

Ok cheers for information, cranking PhysX up to high seems to kill my fps - which is a shame because I love it in this game, but it still looks great on low. Also, turning AA up from 2*MSAA also sees performance drop sharply - not that it matters much at 1440p, and especially not at 4K I'd imagine.
Those 4K Black Flag screenshots have really made me want to get a 4K monitor now
More screenies to come and games like Grid 2, F1 2013 look amazing. Some I can't quite play fully maxed like Crysis 3 and AC4 but they look sweet even with AA dropped. Might keep an eye on the MM for another Titan and risk the wrath of her indoors
Haha, go for it - the more GPUs the better, but you might have to sleep in the spare room for the next month
I bet Crysis 3 and racing games like Grid 2 and Assetto Corsa look amazing in 4K - Crysis has got to be ridiculously demanding at that res though. Think I'd rather wait for Maxwell/Volta (where I hope 5+ GB of VRAM will be standard for high end cards) until I go for a 4K monitor, I'd probably run into lack of memory issues with these 780s... but it's still tempting nonetheless

I honestly hope they give lots of memory on Maxwell/Volta, as seeing 4.6GB being used is more than I was expecting.
