4K gaming possible at full settings on todays hardware?

Is that one 60hz???
If not then it's crap.

I will 100% be buying one of those 60hz 4k ones in June though.

Although by then I hope 32" ones will be cheaper

Looks like the same 60hz one that Greg has, though i might be wrong.

I want to join the 21:9 high res team but obscure ratio's get neglected now that 4k is a hot topic. I will be grabbing a 4k monitor if the price of the 3440 x 1440 monitors dont drop below 4k prices.

Yer, 780's are just as good as Titans but don't have the extra VRAM. The extra screen real estate could be a plus in MMO's and for anything that seriously needs the VRAM, notching down AA will help frames and VRAM tremendously.
 
Messed about with drivers and thought I would try one of my favourite games on a single Titan to see how it copes. Here is my findings for Tomb Raider including different shots for different settings.

Normal settings = 66 80 96
High Settings = 52 62 74
ultra settings = 35 40 46
Ultimate settings = 23 30 36
High settings with TressFX = 28 40 56

If you are happy to play without TressFX in this game, you could happily play with a single high end GPU and high settings.

As you can see, there is a fair distance in IQ between normal (medium) and Ultimate.

Any game people want me to test on a single GPU and with any particular settings? If I have it, I will be happy to bench it :)

Do you have the Bioshock infinite benchmark?

The game is not all that old but has fairly low requirements. Would be cool to see if it can get playable frames on higher settings on a single high end card.

I would appreciate it mostly :)
 
Greg, what does it play like if you drop down to 1080 as I need a monitor but don't want to change my 7950s, someone else asked earlier but i think it got lost in all the other posts.

I did a SLI bench on Bioshock and it was easy for the Titans. Max settings resulted in 34 min, 102 average and 350 Max. I posted it somewhere in the thread for you but lost it now :)

Any particular game you would like me to try and do you want me to start in 1080P and then compare of just run 1080P and comment?

BF4 would be good and maybe TR3 if you don't mind, ta muchly
 
How much smaller is text on a 4k screen compared to my QHD screen ? i think text would be too small for me:(

Do you have Assetto Corsa Greg you can test ?:p
