Even more issues with this bloody IKEA stuff.
Assembling the sliding doors tonight. Each door comes in two halves you have to put together with dowels and cam locks.
First door goes together fine, it's stiff to get tight together but it's ok eventually. Lock it all together with the cam locks.
2nd door even stiffer to get tight together, then the cam locks, when trying to tighten them, are ripping the wood of the door apart and won't tighten up.
But because the dowels are so stiff to fit the two halves together, I now can't get them apart to put the item back into the car for returning it. I've had to slide the part assembled door over the tops of the headrests in the car, it barely went in, and I will have to drive it back like this with it over the top of my head.
And because I've already assembled one door and fitted the rails and used some of the various screws, cam locks and dowels, I will now need them to also give me some additional fixings that are now stuck inside the door I can't get apart..
