If I did go for a 5090 I can’t decide which to buy!
Just make sure it's one with infinity edge circles, wouldn't want this to happen

I wish more cards had 2 x HDMI on them. I realised my plans for the future involve having 2 TVs connected to it so I'm most likely going to have to abandon the dragon plan and get a TUF/Astral.
They do, but apparently they don't do VRR very well. It's something I'll have to look into, but the general consensus I've seen across the web is they're not great.Does a convertor not exist? Don't let go of your dreams so easily!
I'm not normally a fan of this guy as he rambles too much but this one was funny

Good discussion on Gamers Nexus about the thermal solution on the 5090
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series embargoes: January 24 for GeForce RTX 5090, January 30 for GeForce RTX 5080when do you think OCUK will gets hands on the stock? like a few days before?
Ive just tried to look and cannot see any hands on reviews yet, and we are only 2 weeks away from release
They're in stock already I'm sure, they're under an NDA until the embargo liftswhen do you think OCUK will gets hands on the stock? like a few days before?

I got it to 42c in BF2042 hahaAre you playing at 1080p 30fps or something? Mine typically runs around 65C under load @4k 120fps. I'd be staggered if yours never gets above 40c, unless you have 20 case fans maxed out or something
ahh i see, anyone wanna join me for a night time visit to a 5090 warehouse, i need to introduce myselfThey likely have pallets of the stuff just waiting in the warehouse under lock and key.
Remember they are ready to go for DPD next day/Saturday delivery from the 30th so it's obvious they've got the stock for some time now.
Yes the waterblock solution will be interesting especially as the PCB has been designed very much with the stock cooler in mindReally great video and major kudos due to Nvidia for allowing the engineer to discuss it in detail.
What I was paying attention to the most was the interconnects between the boards for fitting a waterblock to it. As the video output board is on a flexible cable, the waterblock is now going to become a structural part of the card rather than just bolted on as before.

I can see the board partners following this solution if it proves to be effective
